Investor & Relationship Manager

Our client is looking for an European Investor & Relationship manager, to strengthen their Investor Outreach (IO) team, based in Brussels. The role is a new opportunity created to fulfil the growing demands and to deepen the IO team’s geographic reach. You will be in charge for the coverage of Continental Europe. You will directly report to the Director of European Investor Outreach.

Role and responsibilities are the following:

• Representing the European listed real estate sector and engaging with investors

• Advocating the merits of the sector by adopting a research-backed case for investment allocation to European listed real estate companies

• Organising and attending institutional events across Continental Europe

• Building on the IO team’s work in meeting with and enhancing the relationships with European investors, member property companies and index constituents

• Maintaining IO relationships with our client’s global peer organisations

• Enhance the service and opportunities for members of our client

• Provide input and feedback from the investor community and our client’s membership to the wider team

• At least 7 years of relevant work experience to date ideally within investor relations, client services or fundraising

• Strong academic record with demonstrable numerical and analytical skills

• Evidence of working with institutional investors – public markets experience advantageous

• Good English skills a must; knowledge of other European languages an asset

• Solid networking competency

• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills – the ability to interact with senior industry executives

• Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills. Some knowledge of databases is advantageous

• Willingness to travel
