Insurance Officer

• You will assist in policy and claims management for different (global and local) insurance policies.
• You will assist in the risk assessment and in the implementation of insurance solutions in close cooperation with the Group Risk and Insurance Team.
• You will assist in the analysis of statistical data and in the collection and determination of insured values and premiums.
• You will monitor the timely issuance of premium invoices and insurance policies.
• You will review policies and premium invoices.
• You will assist in claims management.
• You will establish communication and confidence between Bekaert and the insurance providers.
• You will create risk and safety awareness throughout the total organization.

• You have a bachelor of business management, specialization finance and insurance management or at least 5 years work experience with insurance management (insurance department, insurance company or insurance broker).
• You have good analytical skills and a very good knowledge of Excel.
• You are flexible; you have the ability to deal with changing priorities without losing focus.
• You are good in planning and follow-up of timings and deadlines.
• You have a good organizational knowledge and are able to interact with different levels of the organization.
• Your multicultural sensitivity is very high.
• You have good administration skills and good knowledge of MS Office.
• Your English is fluently spoken and written. Spanish knowledge is an asset.
