Regulatory Affairs Specialist REACH

Description

As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist for 26 markets across the EMEA region, you will be a part of a growing team, interacting with other departments.

As a member of the Regulatory Affairs Department you will provide direction to regulatory projects to ensure compliance of Nu Skin with the various aspects of EU and national legislations and lead projects regarding compliance with REACH legislation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, prepare and follow-up timely the dossiers to ensure REACH compliance.
• Organize and track communication with third parties and both internal and external stakeholders (including external manufacturers, suppliers and regulatory and supply chain colleagues).
• Manage product and raw material regulatory information and ensure integrity the data is maintained.
• Maintenance of REACH chemical substance and article inventories, including packaging.
•  Compliance review of articles (branded items).
• In conjunction with supply chain, facilitate the development and maintenance of a packaging database, implementation of data collection plan, management of change processes, and risk matrix for compliance with EU packaging regulations.
• Audit Product Regulatory Compliance programs.
• Provide guidance to the Regulatory Affairs Department and interact daily with corporate regulatory specialists and other departments.

• A degree in chemistry, biology or related scientific discipline.
• Extensive knowledge of REACH Regulation, especially for the obligations through the supply chain.
• Knowledge about and/or experience with food, food supplements, or cosmetic regulation is a plus.
• Strong team player, collaborative, humble and smart in interaction with others, while pursuing your goals.
• Self-motivated, capable of independent action and undertaking self-prioritization.
• Proven track record in managing projects.
• Ability to independently interpret, evaluate and communicate technical material and government regulations/policies to customers.
• Demonstrate genuine interest and enthusiasm for compliance and how it impacts the business.
• You take ownership, are flexible, pragmatic with a hands-on mentality.
• Excellent verbal, written communication skills in English. Further EU languages would be advantageous.
