* Ensure that all tankworks can be executed in a safe, healthy manner with respect to the environmental requirements. This by using the Risk Assessment methodology, and according to the safety/prevention strategy of the TOTAL group (IMS, golden rules, …),
* Attend loss control meetings of the tankteam and contractor(s),
* Ensure that all tankworks are executed following the international code(s) API – EEMUA – ASME – DIN – ATEX – VLAREM II – NFPA, the RC procedures and the internal TRA procédures,
* Realize the agreed yearly tankprogramme according to agreed scope, expenditures and timing, for maintenance works as well for related investment works. Be the endresponsible for the coordination between the main tankcontractor and TRA departments (production, inspection, construction, routine maintenance, …),
* Create prescope documents, based on existing inspection and maintenance reports, in order to motivate detailed budgets,
* Based on a detailed inspection scope : create and negotiate final scope documents and bids in order to agree lumpsums with the main contractor, following the unit rate contract,
* Attend RC tankteam meetings as an expert in tankmaintenance technology, provide expertise input for RC-procédures,
* After completion of a tankrenovation: organize a debriefing with safety, scope and cost,
* Organize/attend RCA’s, investigate lost opportunities, define, implement and follow-up betterments in order to improve the integrity of the tankfarm,
* Follow and adapt where needed, the project based and preventive way of working, in order to implement costsavings and optimize the maintenance procedures. Optimal availability at best cost is the fundamental principle,
* Provide expertise towards purchase department in order to constantly ameliorate the unitrate contract,
* Coach, stimulate, motivate and guide the members of the team. Provide expertise, technical support and suggest the necessary training for newcomers in the team,
* Attend the regular coordination meetings in order to agree and optimize the schedule of the ongoing works,
* Use SAP R3 (or other provided administration tools) to: filter notifications, evaluate workload and estimate costs, create orders on correct budget, order materials and services according the purchasing rules, schedule and coordinate work, validate costs and timesheets after execution,
* Stay up to date on evolutions in tankmaintenance : both in technical issues as in regulation codes.

– Codes EMUAA – API, metallurgy, welding techniques, civil works,
– Languages : English fluent, French knowledge, Dutch knowledge,
– Communicative, assertive, well organized, disciplined.
