Your future job

• Besides your expertise in accounting, you have all the skills required to explain our reports to our senior management team, as well as the control policy of Global Markets and ALM.
• You will support the back offices in their accounting work and give them the necessary instructions.
• Within your remit, you will analyse the bank’s profit and loss, balance sheet and off-balance-sheet figures, and ensure they are accurate, reliable and exhaustive.
• You will produce ad hoc reports for our controllers, Group Finance and the other BNPPF Finance departments.
• You will play a part in continuing to improve our processes, and in CIB and ALM business projects.

Tell us what you can do

• You have a Master’s degree in an economics-related field.
• You have at least three years’ experience in finance or in an auditing role.
• You are a highly-skilled accountant and enjoy working with figures.
• You are familiar with derivatives and the various types of fixed-interest securities, or you are willing to learn about them.
• You demonstrate an interest for and/or knowledge of the financial markets and the way their evolution affects our reports, valuations and products.

• Knowledge of Belgian and international accounting standards (IFRS) would be an advantage.

• You have an appropriate command of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and potentially Access).

• You can express yourself very well in both French and English (English being our working language).
• You have good analytical skills and an ability to summarise.
• You take the initiative, are dynamic and cope well with stress.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and are able to work as part of a team.
• You can be flexible during the quarterly closing of accounts, as our activities are heavily concentrated over short periods of time.
