Financial Analyst for Financial Reporting team – m/f/x

Your future job

In order to meet the expectations of our stakeholders (senior management, regulators, BNP Paribas Group, external auditors …), the department Financial Reporting prepares and analyzes a wide range of different financial reports. Each of them zooms in on one or more aspects of the bank and its activities:

• Annual and semi-annual report, containing both the IFRS financial figures of the entity BNP Paribas Fortis and it subsidiaries.
• Internal Financial Review Papers which explain the evolution of the financial figures.
• Local reporting towards the National Bank of Belgium under BGAAP (Schema A and Schema B).
• Specific reportings on the interest rates, business evolutions in the loan portfolio, …

Highlight your strengths

• You have a Master degree or equivalent by experience.
• Having a 3 years of experience at a Big Four auditing firm would be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of accounting is required (IFRS & BGAAP).
• You are eager to learn more about accounting to be able to translate it in financial reports.
• You have a strong interest in financial figures and the drive to deliver all our internal and external reports with the required level of quality.
• You are able to work with deadlines.
• You work in an autonomous way and not afraid to propose on own initiative improvements in existing processes and reports.
• You have an analytical mindset and skills to write and synthetize comments in a fluent way.
