As Office Assistant:
- Sets up and breaks down office supplies, food and audio visual equipment, including desktops, laptops, projectors, and televisions, and office equipment stored for events or guests.
- Coordinate with building management and other parties in regards to any facilities related maintenance or repairs needed.
- Keeps abreast of and communicates office specific emergency procedures when requested.
- Assists with special projects on various issues as needed.
- Ensure that the premises are properly maintained and conduct daily tours of the office to identify any facilities related issues.
As Receptionist:
- Performs Receptionist duties as needed which include general administrative duties involving daily correspondence. Meets and greets clients and visitors, determines the nature of their business, and provides appropriate information.
- Register visitors in the building security system, log and distribute temporary office key cards.
- Notifies appropriate department what resources are needed, at what time and duration, and in what room.
- With a high level of responsiveness and professionalism, delivers excellent customer service to outside clients and internal office members. Acts with a problem-solving mindset you act upon any related issues that may arise.
The perfect candidate?
- Proactive
- Two (2) to four (4) years of Guest Services/Operation experience desired
- Excellent verbal communication skills; speaks perfectly English and French.
- Ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
