The business unit Marketing & Sales plays a key role in the fast-changing energy market. It offers tailor-made solutions for each customer, characterized by quality and close support and acts through marketing subsidiaries and partnerships with local operators. They ensure a fresh perspective – not only with regard to the products we supply but also in relation to the way in which we provide them and our relationship with customers generally.

The Business Unit Benelux includes the Group’s nuclear generation activities in Belgium, its Marketing and Sales of electricity, gas and energy related products & services to Belgian industrial and residential customers as well as the B2B and B2T service activities in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Marketing & Sales Belux actually plays a very important role in the quickly evolving energy market with a strong focus on customer solutions. Its M&S Finance department is looking for a Financial & Management Accounting Officer.

Your mission
* you are responsible for elaborating and updating the Management Accounting structure M&S with due respect of the governance rules and supporting the Marketing & Sales Finance Business Control activities
* you are supporting the SAP Module « Material Management » (MM) and have the role as SPOC within the Marketing & Sales organization. You take the lead in following up the correct application of existing processes and take the appropriate initiatives to keep and/or approve quality and efficiency
* you play a coordinating role for the MM process between Business Unit M&S and Purchasing Department and keep recurrent contacts with Global Business Support – Accounts Payable with the objective of a strong partnership
* you carry out Electrabel Marketing & Sales accounting closing activities under the supervision of the Manager Financial Accounting with respect of Group’s closing schedule
* you monitor correctness of accounting entries within Marketing & Sales and cross Business Units and take initiative to improve
* you take care of the « Actuals » financial reporting to other Marketing & Sales Finance team members as contribution to the Financial Management Letter
* you manage the functional mailbox M&S Management Accounting
* you manage the accounting related issues on Green and CHP certificates
* you can be deployed on ad hoc requests and researches under the supervision of Manager Financial Accounting to whom you report

Your profile
* master degree in Economics Sciences, Finance, Accounting or equivalent by experience
* experience of at least 3 years in finance, accounting or business control
* result oriented, accurate and eager to achieve the objective
* assertive, autonomous, flexible and stress-resistant
* ability to work under pressure to meet timelines
* communicative and a dynamic team player
* customer oriented (internal and external)
* fluency in English, Dutch and French speaking and writing
* familiar with MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and SAP
