– First line management towards the operators (+/- 30 people) and 2 Process Technicians
– Assure a safe and ergonomic work environment taking into account the LEAN principles
– Assure that the workers get all necessary qualifications in collaboration with the Training Manager. He/she acts as a coach toward his/her collaborators
– Make sure that all operational, quality and safety procedures are followed and take corrective actions if necessary
– Execution of the planning and distribution of the work force in accordance with this planning
– Taking preventive and corrective actions to assure that the quality, productivity, safety, planning and cost goals are realized
– Initiate, encourage and execute the continuous improvement initiatives

Education : Bachelor or industrial engineer Mechanics or Electro-Mechanics or equal by experience
Languages : Mother tongue French or Dutch and good knowledge of the other language, and experience in English.

– Experience in first line management and contact with operators is an asset – Experience with Lean/Flow- principles is an asset
– Safety and quality awareness
– Able to motivate people
– Have an eye for people management: from coaching to discipline
– Analytical skills
– Strong decisiveness
– Good communicator bottom-up and top-down
